Why I Started EMP Markets
Where It Started
Before the deicing ramps, there was the Armed Forces. I served as a Mission Controller and Operations Specialist Officer. You learn quickly in that environment that systems either work or they don't, and the person who built them owns that.
Deicing operations reinforced it. The businesses that survive aren't always the biggest. They're the ones that adapt fastest and find smarter ways to do the same work. I was always thinking about that. How do you take something complex and make it repeatable? How do you deliver a consistent result without burning yourself out?
Why AI and Automation
When Claude came along, I saw it straight away. This wasn't another tech trend. It was a shift in what's possible for a small business. The ability to automate intelligent tasks, not just repetitive clicks, changes the math entirely.
I threw myself into learning it. Claude, n8n, and how automation can take the repetitive work out of running a business. I'm still learning every day, but I've already seen what happens when the right tools are connected properly. It changes how much you can do in a day.
EMP Markets grew out of that. Small business owners deserve access to tools that actually make their lives easier, explained by someone who speaks plain English, not tech jargon.
What I Bring
I'm not here to oversell you. I'll be upfront about what AI and automation can and can't do, and I'll work with you at whatever level makes sense. If something is beyond what I can deliver right now, I'll tell you.
What I can do is help you get started, set things up properly, and make sure you actually understand how it all works when we're done.
